Breach Level Index 2015: Identity theft accounts for over half of all data breaches
A new study reveals that data breaches continue to increase, with 888 occurring in the first six months of 2015, compromising 246 million records worldwide.

The market value for medical records is 10 times higher than the value of credit card records. The reason for this is that when your credit card data has been stolen it can easily be blocked and replaced, but when your medical records have been stolen they can not be blocked. Then you are fully open for identity theft, fraud, etc.
