The information security industry is hot right now, but it’s hot because it’s failing.

It’s time to rethink security. You cannot divide networks in “private” and “public”. You have to design for having perpetrators in your “private” network, making it “public”, even if the firewall doesn’t make it public to your grandmother (if she’s not a hacker).

Encryption is a key technology and access control must be strongly authenticated, user by user, not by roll.
