Security researchers have come up with a way to unlock cars manufactured by vendors around the world: the Volkswagen Group, Ford, Opel, and others.

Not as bad as turning off brakes but it’s still bad that hackers can unlock and empty your car without leaving a scratch. I guess it will be hard to prova and collect your insurance.
